Boro-Info Group successfully manages famous brands such as “Brutarul-Cofetarul”, “GastroPan” or “Gastromedia”, and its strategic partnerships with important suppliers of technologies and dedicated solutions serve the following sectors for over 20 years: HoReCa, food, bakery, confectionery, milling, chocolate and ice cream.

Our mission

Supporting the bakery, confectionery and HoReCa sectors and increasing the professionalism of employees working in these fields, through access to information, expertise and know-how offered by the international exhibition GastroPan, Brutarul-Cofetarul and Gastromedia magazines, GastroPan competitions, and specialization in building brands and building the visual identity of companies.

Brutarul-Cofetarul Magazine

Boro-Info started in 2001 with a project that was at that time an innovation: the Brutarul-Cofetarul specialized magazine. The magazine was received with enthusiasm by the Romanian market because it provided information about specialized technology, suppliers’ contacts and presentation of solutions they offer to simplify production processes in bakery and pastry industries and increase yield, factors that contributed to increasing readers’ interest from one edition to another. GastroPan Exhibition

“Born” in 2009, under the name of Expo Pan, the specialized event came as a natural consequence of the complex activity that Boro-Info carried out in all fields of the milling, bakery and pastry industries, but also of the need of suppliers and producers/operators of the industries to meet in a framework that allows the exchange of business ideas, offers, know-how and testing of innovative equipment and new ingredients. The annual organization of GastroPan international exhibition allowed the specialists who visited the event to get in direct contact with the suppliers and find out from experts which are the best solutions for their businesses and which are the latest global trends in the targeted fields: bakery, pastry, HoReCa, ice cream, chocolate, coffee/tea, food, beverages.

Training courses

The continuous interaction with the specialists has always provided us with essential information about the reality of the market and about the challenges that these professionals face in practice. The lack of training and development opportunities was a common problem of all areas served by Boro-Info, and finding this out gave rise to a new project: training courses for professional development.

So far, we have trained over 2,500 professionals through these courses, the results being visible in each of the companies at which they work – diversifying the product portfolio, increasing product quality, increasing the added value of products in the portfolio, addressing new market segments and attracting new customers. Branding and communication

In parallel with the two magazines it publishes, the graphic designers at Boro-Info set their knowledge in motion to help HoReCa, bakery, pastry and confectionery companies be more visible in the market and have their own identity, by creating logos and specific communication materials for these companies. During the 20 years of activity, many entrepreneurs have taken advantage of these services offered by Boro-Info Group, including: creating logos, business cards, various documents – letterheads, envelopes, templates for internal documentation, etc. – but also dedicated websites, leaflets, catalogs, menus and promotional posters, all accompanied by advice and finding the best communication strategy.
