The bread made of whole wheat flour with sunflower seed and flax seed made by Baboia Doina from Vel Pitar SA is the \u201eIndustrial Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania&#8221;, whereas the winner of the \u201eArtisan Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania&#8221; category is Beldiman George from Adriana Bolgiu SNC company, who made traditional rustic farmer&#8217;s bread specific for the region of Muntenia. The Cake of the Year 2016 is Julf Cake, a special cake made by Cazacu Elena Ada from Vipp Fashion Srl company, the company that won in this category last year too.<\/p>\n<h5>The Bread of the Year 2016<\/h5>\n<p>One of the novelties of this year\u2019s edition was that both artisan and industrial bakeries will have the opportunity to win the trophy of the Bread of the Year 2016, as this prize will be divided this year into two different categories, according to the quantity of bread produced daily and the method of bread production \u2013 the best artisan and industrial breads have been awarded.<\/p>\n<h5>Industrial Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania<\/h5>\n<p>The best industrial bread of the year is a bread made of whole wheat flour with sunflower seed and flax seed made by Baboia Doina from Vel Pitar SA. The bread is made of potato, white flour, salt, yeast.<\/p>\n<h5>The Cake of the Year 2016: Julf Cake<\/h5>\n<p>Reinvented tradition was this year\u2019s topic for this category, which was won by Elena Ada from Vipp Fashion Srl company, who made the cake called Julf Cake. The cake was inspired by a 100-old Romanian Christmas tradition. The base layer of the cake is made of meringue and flour made of red grape seed. It is gluten free and rich in vitamins and antioxidants.
