GastroPan International Exhibition – March 23rd -25th 2017, Sibiu, Romania

The greatest international exhibition for the bakery, pastry, confectionery, gastronomy, ice-cream, coffee and hospitality sectors in Southeastern Europe will take place in the city of Sibiu, Romania, in March 23rd-25th, 2017. The 9th edition of GastroPan exhibition will present the largest variety of products, solutions and technologies: from the latest equipment and technologies, ingredients and innovative accessories, IT solutions and products, professional hygiene solutions to packaging and utensils for cake decorating. The organizers have prepared a dynamic programme each day: competitions, demo shows, tastings and more.

The specialized trade fair is unique in Romania, being the only B2B event that reunites the supply with the demand on the market, specialists and renown professionals, the suppliers with their potential clients in a context that allows the transfer of know-how, complex presentations of products, technologies and services for visitors who are professionals in the abovementioned sectors, and where specialists and entrepreneurs have the opportunity to find out about the international new trends and innovations on the global market.

Schedule of GastroPan 2017
All three days of the event will offer dynamic programmes: presentations of various technologies, workshops and tastings organized by the exhibitors at their booths, as well as competitions and demo shows.

THURSDAY - MARCH 23 – the first day of the exhibition will be the day of the competitions organized within the CONFECTIONERY competition section. The “Cake of the Year” will be awarded.

FRIDAY - MARCH 24 - the second day of exhibition is dedicated to the competitions of the BAKERY-PASTRY section. The most beautiful artistic pieces made of bread dough and the best bakery products will be on display. The best product will be awarded with the ”Artisan Bread of the Year 2017” and the ”Industrial Bread of the Year 2017” prizes.

SATURDAY - MARCH 25 – the day dedicated to the competitions of the GASTRONOMY section. Skilled chefs from all across the country will show their talents at the culinary competitions: fruit and vegetable sculpting and cold dishes will be the main attractions. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire all products and artistic pieces of the GastroPan Competitions.

The number of visitors kept growing over the years and the last 3 editions have reached more than 20.000 visitors each. The quality of the exhibition, the international exhibitors and all the new and innovative solutions and technologies they bring, launching of new products and technologies, the latest trends, the possibility to learn new work techniques from experts, the demo shows and live exemplification of how useful the exhibited solutions are, all represent good reasons for the public to come back each year.
